"I was never much of a
reader in school. Some of the books I do remember reading were:
Going Through the Gate by Janet S. Anderson, Nothing But the Truth
by Avi ,The Diary of Ann Frank by Ann Frank, The Hardy Boys
Collection and Goosebumps.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Nicole has recently received her diploma from Centennial
College in social service work. She is currently an undergrad
social worker student at Ryerson University.
Nicole has learned to love hip hop though spoken word, the
way it intertwines the lyrics and poetry. Every word and every
breather connects you closer to the artist and their story which
can be it is though song or dance. Nicole
has fours years of practice working with a wide range of people
living in high risk and underprivileged neighbourhoods and running
after school programs. She also has two years of experience dealing
with families that are facing literacy. Some of the organizations
that Nicole has work and volunteer
with: WoodGreen Community Services, Parkdale Project Read, Seed of
Life, Ajax Community Services and Toronto Youth Employment
Services.
